A week of antibiotics AND Christmas Decorations!

A Week of Antibiotics and Christmas Decorations...

I feel a lot better. I'm so glad I didn't end up on IVs or in the hospital! I have been really trying to do all my meds. And for the most part I have been. I'm not 100% back yet, but I'm headed there. I had a few days off from work in a row, which really helped. And on Saturday I had nothing planned, so we decided to have a movie marathon day at my house (with a handful of friends), so I could be lazy, do meds, eat, and relax all day. Genius idea.

When I'm sick my biggest downfall is that I keep running around. I perform in theatre, I go to parties, out with friends, stay up late.  I don't change my schedule at all, excpet I take more pills and do more therapies. Which I know I should not do as much, BUT I really can't stand not doing stuff. I loved being involved, working, going to school, etc.

Which is why I should have more friends over for movies, etc when I'm sick. I felt like I was socializing the whole day and I had a lot of fun, but it was a lot better than my usual busy day.

I now just need to look into buying a treadmill, so I can jog in the winter.  I want to continue increasing my lung function. I would love to reach 75% in a couple years. In order to do that I need to: 1. Stay Healthy 2. Gain Weight 3. Do My Meds 4. Jog

Also, I put up my tree and Christmas decorations! Here are some pictures!

My Babysitting girls made me pictures and snowflakes!

I have my Christmas decorations up, I'm getting better, what more could I ask for? :-)

  1. Hi Cheriz!!! I haven't left a comment in sometime......but I'm glad to hear you are doing well. Keep up all that running and your PFT's will increase. Just remember it took years for our lungs to develop all this damage. So it will take time to get those numbers back up.

    Take Care Cheriz!

  2. Yep, I will keep at it! Also, Alayna is such a cutie, the pic with the "thankful for Mommy shirt" on your blog was adorable! :-)
