Xanadu, Insurnace and Some Denny's

The musical Xanadu opened last night! The audience was smaller than what we had hoped for, but with all the flooding and bridges closed.... What  can you do? Xanadu has a great cast. I have loved seeing all of them. When it's over It will be bittersweet.

I will miss seeing everyone and spending time with them. I could use the time to catch up on homework, work extra shifts, or spend it doing meds. This last week has been particularly frustrating as the company my Dad works for got bought and our insurance changed. So of course they started denying my meds. I got almost all of it figured out yesterday. But now they said they need a couple more days to straighten out everything with the pharmacy (apparently my CF pharmacy wasn't in contract with them...ugh) So after we looked up stuff on line and I called a couple people, waited on hold for a couple hours, and rationally discussed (lol) everything over the last two days. We have come to an understanding. Except my TOBI and CAYSTON.  I will be excited to get my hypertonic saline back. I ran out of it over a week ago. I haven't had Vitamin D in a couple days either. My lungs are getting pretty crappy from lack of hypertonic and time to do my vest. I've been slacking on doing the Vest...

After the last number in the show we do an encore dance and it is a little too much for my lungs, which is sad. When I had really good lung function I could dance for hours. So I need to work on my lungs hard core. Cuz last night I didn't even get to greet people in the line. I was coughing too much/ having a mini asthma attack :-( So I hope that doesn't happen when my family comes.

Last night we celebrated a good friend's Bday at Dennys. He's getting old.. haha j/k Matty. But it was nice and really fun. Been a while since the whole group went out! Here is a pic of Alicia and I at Denny's. As you can see I'm still sporting the Mohawk I wear in the show! :-)

Well, sorry I haven't been blogging as much! Today, I got up early though ran errands, came home did meds, changed, and now I'm getting ready to head out the door for work. :-)
